Differences of Striker, Hammer, & Revolver Actions

I realize that with WI's new CCW law in effect there are going to be a LOT of people who are new to firearms who may have questions about the different type of actions. I found a great website that allows you to view the internal actions to these firearms:

http://www.genitron.com/Handgun-Basics/

The website also in-depth information on a lot of firearms, and is definitely a good read even if you're familiar with them!

Usually "Hammer Action" pistols allow the use of "de-cockers & safety's," whereas "Striker Fired" pistols don't, their DAO only triggers are considered the only "safety."
