shot a Springer XDm in .45acp this morn at the range for a few mags
Image

1. nice build! good looking gun
2. the big fat grip doesnt bother me for a range gun 13 rnds of 45 is alot!
3. stock sights seem fine
4. can pop a drink can over and over at 25yds
5. what the hell were they thinking with the trigger!! this thing makes a Glock seem like the best thing since topless bathing suits!!

maybe some 3rd party trigger parts would help out
fine gun
just hard to shoot, even after my sa/da guns

I have the new XDm .45 and love it. I use it as a home defense/range pistol, but I carry concealed from time to time. It isn’t too bulky and certainly isn’t too heavy. XDm is really outstanding and reliable defense weapon. And you’ll get the fun-factor too!
My asp batons is my little home defense.

I thought the trigger on the XDM was supposed to be one of it's good selling points, something about a "match-grade" trigger?

ill have to ask the folks in Croatia where they put the match trigger in this one, maybe it was laying in the bottom of the box :-D

ive been told im a trigger "snob"
so maybe im just to harsh of a reviewer
but like i say, i do like the gun
but if it had a 1911 trigger it would be that much better

I have 2 XDm's. I have a 3.8 compact and the 5.25 both in 45acp. I love them both and have been thinking I need another come fall/winter.
