Renewal change

Post Number:#1  Postby SidecarMike » Sat Jul 08, 2017 10:36 pm

When I renewed mine last winter. The expiration date is five years from the date of renewal. Barb renewed hers this week. Hers expires on the tenth anniversary of it's first issue.
BTW, she renewed online, Wednesday evening and received her new permit in today's (Saturday) mail.
Bad men excuse their faults. Good men abandon them.

I guess they responded to my criticism last year.

(I bet they heard from several people.)

This got changed recently, so that you get the full 5 years out of your permit, rather than losing some portion because of the renewal. I lost about a month on mine when I renewed last January, but next time I renew it will carry the same date as this most current issuance. Should have been that way in the first place!
Cheers!
