I was to his show in Eau Claire, 2 weeks ago.
It's always my favorite show. My only complaint is the number of tables that are not gun related. I don't go to a gun show to buy a jar of maple syrup. Everything from knives to socks, to crafty wicker baskets. Years ago, when we lived in Kentucky, the organizers specified that all tables had to be 60% firearm related. I'd love to see that here.

Interesting. I go to his shows in Waukesha and West Allis and never see that stuff.

The further north you go he loses some vendors who don't want to travel so far so he will add some other stuff to fill the hall. I know a couple more this year are cutting down on shows due to age. For many vendors it's a lot of work setting up and tearing down. I help Gary (The Collectable Edge) when he's at Oshkosh and Fondy. Two to three hours just for the knives. Then think about the guys with 6-8 tables of guns to pack around. Lot of work. When you get down to the Milwaukee area you get greater attendance so more vendors are willing to come out. The shows are bigger in that area.

I stopped and checked out the Bob and Rocco show at West Bend last weekend. We were there right when they opened on Sunday morning, so the place was pretty empty. But there was quite a bit of stuff to look at. It was enjoyable not to have to fight the crowd like usually happens at these shows. I did notice that it looks like prices on some stuff is starting to go up. Probably pre-election speculation.
Cheers!
